SATURDAY WALKS

Saturday – Public Transport Walks

On Saturday we offer a walk in our local area. You can find details of these walks here. These are planned to be accessible by public transport (either buses or trains). Some people also reach the start of the walk using their own transport if it is a circular walk.

The Saturday walk will be between 6 and 10 miles led by one of the club’s walk leaders. Generally we have between 12 and 30 members who turn up to join one of these walks. If you are a Meetup member, just RSVP for the walk you are planning to join. If this is your first walk with us you may send us a message to say where you are joining the group and we will try and make sure someone looks out for you. We don’t as yet set any limits on the numbers attending the Saturday Walks.

The public transport starting point is Bradford Interchange unless otherwise specified in our programme. Sometimes the walks are circular, or are linear finishing at a different place, in reach of public transport close by.

Most of the public transport information assumes a starting point in Bradford, but where possible we will post information about where the walk is actually starting and a time to convene at the starting point, for people coming from different areas.

At the end of the walk, walkers may go for a drink (coffee or beer) somewhere, though this is optional.

The Saturday walks usually start between 9.00 and 11.00 and finish between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
